March 3, 2010, at Rubin Museum in New York City, Arjia Rinpoche
participated in a discussion with neuroscientiest Bruce S.
McEwen
the topic "How Do Our Brains Cope with Long-term Stress?" The
talk focused on how stress hormones act on the brain and if
Buddhist practice has anything to teach us about how we can control
stress
levels.

was a speaker at the Bridge Conference held in New York City on March
14. This mission of this conference was to establish a
"bridge"
between the Chinese people and the Tibetan people.
